Michael Gilman Gets New Position

Following an aura of controversy, the man at the center of the hullabaloo, Mr. Michael Gilman, has got a
L-R: GGAA National President Fred Gwyan and
his new senior advisor, Y Michael Gilman
new positon to serve the Gwyan-Khan administration as "Senior Advisor". The appointment is said to have taken immediate effect. This position does not require Board confirmation.
Administration sources told me Mr. Gilman was appointed to the Advisory position and would not have to go through Board confirmation. Sources said National President Fred Gwyan is now looking for his new Chairman on Membership. Administration public relations is yet to make the news public and there is no independent confirmation from administration officials.
Mr. Michael Gilman was nominated recently to the position of Chairman of the Membership Committee. His nomination was rejected by the National Board of Directors on grounds that Mr. Gilman was not the best fit for the position at this time.
A Board confirmation committee said Mr. Gilman is polarizing, and that he hijacked the Grand Gedeh Forum (GGF), which was supposed to be the official forum of the Association. The committee said it took its decision based on Mr. Gilman's past activities that if he were appointed to the position Mr. Gilman will not unite the people of Grand Gedeh.
Mr. Gilman and his supporters have repeatedly denied that the GGF belongs to the GGAA. They argued that GGF was a personal establishment of Mr. Gilman; and therefore, the Board was wrong to reject him using the GGF as part of its reasons.
Many see the switch by the Gwyan-Khan administration to appoint Mr. Gilman to a different position as a "wise decision". One Gedean said, "That is so far the best decision Fred has made. He could not fight with the Board. His administration has more to lose by going at loggerhead with the Board."
Details of the new appointment of Mr. Gilman will follow subsequently.

Grand Gedeans in Minnesota Call For Election, Appointment

Taryon Nyenon - Victim of Tyranny

By Gibson W. Jerue

Hundreds, perhaps thousands of members of the Grand Gedeh Association residing in
Minnesota have condemned their disenfranchisement by the Alec Deah administration to choose their leaders through the ballot box.
The Grand Gedeans say they will remained dogged to ensuring that elections are held and the ballot box determining their leaders, instead of the "appointed leadership" of Madam Aggie Free, who was recently handed the leadership of the GGAA in MN on a silver plater.
The Alec Deah administration reportedly instigated the ad-hoc election commission to disqualify the Taryon Nyenon team, thereby giving Mr. Deah to have his way to declare Aggie president. The Board sent a team of investigators who found Mr. Deah and the commission wanting. Mr. Deah and the Commission have disobeyed the recommendation of the Board probe team. Below is the resolution, which is said to have wooed he signatures of more 60 democratic-craze voters and counting. More signatures are being gathered to be submitted the National Administration and National Board of Directors.
MINNESOTA CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP PETITION
Whereas on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, a 4-count formal complaint was filed to the National President, Fred Tarlue Gwyan, against the Alec Deah Administration of the Minnesota Chapter of the Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas and; Whereas, in the 4-count complaint, the NYENON-BARLUE PRESIDENTIAL & VICE PRESIDENTIAL Team and the Chapter’s Board Chairman, Alex Gaye alleged:
1. That the Deah Administration in collaboration with the Sluward Barway Elections Commission unfairly disqualified the entire 6-Member NYENON-BARLUE PRESIDENTIAL & Vice PRESIDENTIAL TEAM from participating in the electoral process and;
2. That the Deah Administration also unfairly imposed a seventy dollars (US$70.00) as prepayment of both Registration and annual Membership dues on every Chapter Member as a precondition to exercising our rights to vote and;
3. That the Deah Administration also imposed an incomplete constitution on the Minnesota Chapter and;
4. That the Deah Administration declared all seven seats on the Chapter’s Board vacant even though the Board’s tenure was not due to expired until August of 2016 and;Whereas, said complaint was forwarded to the National Board of Directors through its Chair, Joseph Dweh, for investigation in accordance with the Gedeh Union’s Constitution and;
Whereas, the GGAA National Board appointed and mandated a 3-Member Panel of Investigators under the leadership of Hon. Kai Matthew Whyee, to proceed to the Minnesota Chapter to investigate and amicably resolve all the disputes and;
Whereas, the GGAA National Board’ 3-Member Whyee Panel complied and proceeded to the state of Minnesota on Sunday, August 2, conducted and completed a 9-hour long (marathon) investigation and;
Whereas, it was agreed by all 11 including 9 Associates and 2 officials of the Whyee 3-Member Panel, resoled that the Nyenon-Barlue Team’s disqualification is overturned and that the team is reinstated into the electoral process and;
Whereas on the issue of the $70.00 Membership registration fees and dues payments, all 11 including 9 Associates and the 2 Panel Officials ruled that the ($70.00) payment decision is upheld;However, the Panel also ruled that the decision did not apply to new registered Members and that new Memberships’ due payment begins from the date of their registration and;
Whereas, on the issue of the imposition of a new Constitution on the Minnesota Chapter, all 11 including 9 Associates and 2 Panel Officials ruled that although the new Constitution is incomplete, it should not be nullified as demanded by the Complainants; However, it was also unanimously ruled that for the new constitution to be considered complete, the following conditions must be met:•
That a Constitution Review Committee should be set up to review the constitution so as to make the necessary corrections including, but not limited to grammatical errors.• That a hard copy of the constitution should be produced so as to contain the signatures of all those who wrote it and reviewed it.•
That it should contain the signature of the GGAA-MN Board Chairman.• That a copy of said constitution should be sent to the GGAA National Board for its acceptance and records and;
Whereas, on the issue of declaring all seven seats on the Chapter’s Board vacant, all 11 including 9 Associates and the 2 Panel officials ruled that the Deah Administration’s decision is overturned; That all seven Board Members will complete the remaining one out of their 3-year term, as provided for under the Minnesota/Iowa Chapter Constitution under which they were elected and; Whereas, and unfortunately, outgoing President Deah, “Membership Committee Chair,” Randall Free and Elections Commission Chairman, Sluward Barway decided to flagrantly violate the National Board’s rulings, which were also officially forwarded to the National Administration;It must be noted that even though all parties to the conflict had earlier agreed and accepted the National Board’s rulings, after they were announced, printed out and distributed to all concerned parties and;
Whereas, Messrs. Alec Deah, in cohort with Randall Free and Sluward Barway, decided to defy the National Board’s authority by disregarding the rulings. They instead took a dramatic U-turn on almost all of the Board’s decisions as reflected in their self imposed guidelines including guideline number two under VOTERS’ ELIGIBILITY REQUEIREMENTS and;
Whereas, we the bona fide Members of the Minnesota Chapter, haven made all necessary attempts to register to vote and been deliberately denied by the Deah Administration through his “Membership Committee Chair,” Randall Free and; Whereas Mr. Free prematurely ended the registration process on Saturday, September 6, twenty-one days before the elections were due to be held on Sunday, September 27 and;
Whereas, as a matter of fact, we were never informed publicly that the registration process was ongoing until we learnt about it on face book (The Boiler Room), that the registration ended days earlier;
Whereas, as a result of the actions of Randall Free and Sluward Barway, we the bona fide Members of the Minnesota Chapter were denied all vital pieces of information and;
Whereas, as a result we were denial knowledge about the venue of the Elections and the voters’ registration calendar as well as asses to ballots samples for the elections and;
Whereas, such denial of information to register deprived us our right to become registered Members which could have qualified us as eligible voters to exercise our inalienable right to democratically elect our chapter’s executive leadership of our choice on Sunday, September 27 for the next two years and;
Whereas, as a result of the cohorts’ gross disregard to our well being, Alec Deah, Randall Free’s and Sluward Barway aborted the democratic electoral process against our will thus disenfranchising us in total disregards to the National Board’s rulings and;
Whereas, as a consequence, Madam Aggie Free and her corps of officers, were illegally declared and imposed on us as the new executive leadership of the Minnesota Chapter for the next two years; a decision we out-rightly reject and denounced in no uncertain terms and;
Whereas our condemnation and denunciation are due to the fact that she was never elected by us, because no elections were ever held. Her declaration was born out of a bogus and kangaroo arrangement, rather than through democratic elections.
Whereas, we the bona fide Members of the Minnesota Chapter haven been willfully disenfranchised, resolved during a mass meeting held at 5890 Moore Lake Park, North East Fridley, Minnesota, 55432 in the State of Minnesota in pursuant to our common good decided to act appropriately and;
Wherefore and as a consequence, we have resolved to petition as our National President and through you to the National Board of Directors of our Union, to take the following actions in consonance with your constitutional oath of duty to uphold, protect and defend the Constitution of the Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas.
1. That you appoint an Interim Leadership and an Independent Elections Commission;
2. That the Interim Leadership be mandated to coordinate with the Independent Elections Commission to hold free, fair, transparent, democratic elections for the executive leadership of the Minnesota Chapter;
3. That those elections be held either under the Grand Gedeh Association’s Constitution in a reasonable period of time, not exceeding one month;
4. That the Deah Administration be mandated to turnover to the new democratically elected administration all assets belonging to the Minnesota Chapter.
5. That the assets include, but shall not be limited to the Chapter’s bank accounts at the TCF Bank and/or all other banking institutions and the Chapter’s office located at 1710 Douglas Drive in Golden Valley, Minnesota.Done on Sunday, this 11th day of October, A. D 2015, in the city of Fridley, State of Minnesota. In so doing this shall constitute our sufficient authority.

MN Chapter Gedeans Negotiate in Camera

Back: Taryon Nyenon, front: Alec Deah and Aggie Zarzar
I have been bombarded for the last two days by my good friend Alexander Barmon to cease fire, in an effort to conclude a background negotiation currently going on. I am not going to name those involved in the background talks, but I believe it is always good to talk. I respect the Grand Gedeans' desire to come up with an amicable resolution of the election malaise that disenfranchised hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Gedeans in the Minnesota Chapter.
As all of you know, I was hired by Mr. Taryon Nyenon to handle his media consultancy. I am doing just that. I have tried to get hold of Mr. Nyenon and I have not got him. It is very important that he plays a role in my ceasing fire while Alex Barmon and other find a solution. I would call on Mr. Barmon to reach out to Mr. Nyenon as he is the only person who can tell me to stop. Mr. Nyenon's objective is and remains a free, fair and democratic re-election. This is sin qua non!
Why Mr. Barmon and others reach out to Mr. Nyenon, I will cease fire for three hours. If I don't get a call from Mr. Nyenon by 6:00pm today, I will resume and finally release my series of articles on Alec Deah and Aggie Zarzar. There is no holding bars as both are politicians and everything about them is on the table - their lives, their connections, including their family lives, their associations in the community, etc. At this time, Grand Gedeans will understand that I have held my peace for a long time and it is time to hit back at Aggie for at least two weeks to send a message.
Thanks to all those who have been calling me. I appreciate your concern and it is also my concern that MN Chapter gets a resolution.
